If you planning a foreign trip first time then your first step is to make a checklist and strictly follow it.Which covers following points

Foreign currency (Forex): -Currency exchange is the most tedious part of the foreign journey.
I guess only currency exchange is the part which you need to finish before going on-board. Once all primary things were done (like tickets, visa, and accommodation) it’s time to decide finance for the trip or decide the budget. Other than Nepal no other country accept Indian rupee! So get money exchange done in advance to make your journey exciting and hassle free.

There are many banks with so many offers regarding money exchange just check with all and go for maximum benefits. Some banks offer money to exchange for selected country only.
Try to use card money ( forex card)some cards are like a debit card so you can use it in any ATM to withdraw money even you can use it as a credit card. You can do shopping or pay your bills. Many banks offer zero service charges for your first transaction. If you lose it u just need to inform them and block it get the replacement add-on card.
Now a day many people using 90% digital money but still in some circumstances carry some cash with you always, because some places does not accept cards. But just make sure that you are not keeping all cash at one place just split your cash into many places to avoid total loss. Don’t use big note always use some small exchange for roadside local shopping!
